Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados Dr. DeLisle Worrell will host a news conference next Wednesday, April 14, 2010 to discuss the country’s economic performance for the first quarter of 2010. According to the bank, the meeting with the Governor will be essentially a question and answer session, which will be webcast on the Bank’s website. Following a new procedure begun in January shortly after Dr. Worrell took up the job, on the day before, Tuesday, April 13, the Bank will issue his review the country's first quarter performance.
