LIAT wishes to advise that all of our early morning flights departing today from the V.C. Bird International Airport in Antigua were delayed by approximately 2 hours.

These delays were due to the unavailability of the requisite Airport Authority security services. We have been advised that the Airport's management is making every effort to rectify the situation to facilitate operations at the facility.

We therefore wish to advise our customers throughout the region that this will cause consequential delays to some of our services throughout the network. Liat will be monitoring the situation closely and doing all possible to minimize the delays. We sincerely apologise for this inconvenience which is beyond our control.
